A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 5% Merlot and aged for 12 months in American (50%) and French (50%) oak barrels, and a further 6 months in bottle. Coffee and a nicely bloody streak to the very ripe blackcurrant fruit. Little glimpse of something schisty and mineral. Very good black fruit, with tight, silky, intense and spicy fruit and oak melange.
