Whisky that straddles history. Distilled in 1989 behind the "Iron Curtain" when the Czech Republic was part of Czechoslovakia. This single malt is a vintage release distilled at the Prádlo Distillery before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Hammerhead 1989 is distilled from malted Czech barley that was then milled using a hammer mill, hence the name. After 23 years maturing in casks of Czech oak, it's bottled at 40.7% ABV
