The wine is aged for 24 months in 50% new and 50% seasoned French oak hogsheads. The wine colour is a medium depth crimson with purple hues. On the nose, an intense and lifted perfume of blue fruits, violets and chocolate, entwine with hints of sage, cedar and white peppery spice. On the palate juicy raspberries and Satsuma plum fills the mouth with lovely oak sweetness. The fruit is wonderfully balanced with briary and white pepper spice and textured fine tannin.
