The Chastel-Sauzet family has been running the estate since 1850.  The vines of the Domaine are spread out over soils that are composed of friable granite which is pink and a sub soil that is rich in Magnesium; these soils are well known for producing rich, powerful wines which are also capable of ageing. Dark garnet with an intense and rich nose, with touches of smoky wood. Palate is ripe and juicy.
